Will still be available to you as a resource and you can continue to send questions to support@flustr.com, however, you’ll be met with an auto-reply and link to this FAQ. We will try our best to respond to all those we can in this moment, however, due to situation and amount of messages we are likely to receive, we can’t promise a tailored response.
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY FOLLOWER GIFTS & CREATOR REWARDS?
For members that already met the required amount to withdrawal rewards, we will fulfill those pending the request was made before we went offline. Meaning, that you met the minimal gem /cash out requirements in the app, successfully went through the payout process via the Flustr in-app wallet using a verified PayPal account, received the 3-5 business day payout confirmation and followed the subsequent verification steps with customer support. In addition, videos & eligible accounts needed to be in good standing, followed our community standards, terms of service, privacy policy and withdrawal policy.
WHEN WILL THE APP BE UNAVAILABLE
Dec 3rd, 2024 (PT). If you’re reading this from Dec 3rd 2024 (PT), we’ve already sent out an in-app notification to alert about the shutdown, pointing to this FAQ and giving you time to export any of your Flustr videos you want to keep with you! We hope you do!
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY DATA?
We are committed to handling your data responsibly. We will be deleting all user data, including videos, profile information, and any other personal information, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN FLUSTR GOES OFFLINE?
People will no longer be able to download Flustr from Google Play and the App Store as listings will be removed. The Flustr app will still live on your phone of course, however, after Dec 3rd 2024 (PT), the app and all its functionality will not longer be active.

All we can say is that, Flustr works! Lifting people up everyday. Many have said, "...this app is to make me feel better!" or "...you guys are really helping a lot of people!” Feedback like this, is what allowed us to keep going even though we reached our breaking point months ago! All things point to we are doing something right. However, for all current intents & purposes, we are closing but maintaining the strong will and idea that we’d love nothing more than to come back.
Flustr is officially going offline, at least for now. That way we can bookmark this part of the journey with you at an all time high & be best positioned to get the support required to make Flustr's full vision come to life & ultimately become a leading platform.

Most posted everyday, and supported each other every step of the way. We saw friendships form via our interactive contests & videos, comments, and we saw you even Group Up! You sent each other Powered-Up gifts to help each other take home game loot or simply show love. 99% of all community engagement was positive / supportive, no rage-baiting or bullying on Flustr - ever!

Flustr is a thriving community of dedicated creators like you - growing at an incredible pace. In fact, we believe we may have the highest ratio of active and dedicated creators / posters to members in the entire Short-Video space. Since the re-launch of Flustr V2 a year ago, an impressive 80% of our creators (YOU!) have been active daily, consistently contributing a wealth of amazing content.
However, what you may not know is that Flustr's entire team only consists of 3 people! That's it! From implementing daily objectives, AI & AR video, games, and contests, to developing new features, providing customer support, moderating content, and more, it’s been a relentless effort.
We’ve worked tirelessly to ensure a safe and inspiring environment for everyone. And now, with November being our fastest-growing month ever and December poised to surpass it, the momentum is truly EPIC! But unfortunately and suddenly, 2/3 of our team has been affected by unforeseen event.
While we’re incredibly proud of this community-driven success, it’s become clear that our small team can no longer keep pace with the rapid growth, especially during this difficult time. To maintain the high standards and positive energy that define Flustr, we must take a step back in hopes to overcome & secure the necessary support.
We understand that this news may be unexpected and frustrating. It is for us too. We care so deeply about you and the community we've built together! Please know that this decision was not made lightly. We believe it’s essential for the long-term health and growth of the community, especially in the event we're able to return!
